At the heart of Trilateral Stability’s mission is our partnership with CAISC (Cooperativa Agro-Industrial Santa Cruz), a cooperative based in São Tomé and Príncipe.

CAISC was founded by a local farming family with the goal of improving livelihoods, protecting the environment, and producing cocoa that reflects the island’s unique quality and heritage.

While small in scale, CAISC represents a spirit of resilience

and commitment to excellence.

Today, CAISC is in the process of strengthening its facilities and working toward organic and fair trade certification. This transition is an important step that will allow them to export directly and meet the growing demand for ethically and sustainably produced cocoa. In the meantime, our contract ensures that Trilateral Stability stands beside them, building bridges to future markets.

What makes CAISC unique is its foundation in community and family origins. Many of its members represent generations of cocoa growers, carrying forward knowledge and tradition while embracing innovation. Their commitment to organic farming practices highlights a respect for both people and the environment.

Through this blog, we will continue to share updates on CAISC’s progress, milestones, and stories from the people behind the cooperative. We believe in celebrating not just the product, but the people and communities who make it possible.
