A New Phase of Responsibility
When I first began working on Trilateral Stability, my focus was clear — to build honest, ethical partnerships with local cooperatives such as CAISC in São Tomé and Príncipe.
The goal was never just to trade cocoa, but to create a bridge of trust, connecting farmers who grow with care to buyers who value transparency and fairness.
But as the business grew, a deeper question emerged:
How can we make that trust visible?
That question led to the next step in our journey — developing a traceability system that allows every batch of cocoa to be tracked from its origin to its destination. It’s a project we’re working on quietly in the background, designed to give buyers a simple way to verify where their cocoa came from, how it was produced, and when it arrived.
Turning Transparency into Action
For us, this isn’t just about technology — it’s about responsibility. When people choose Trilateral cocoa, they deserve to know that every bean carries a story: one of hard work, quality, and integrity. Traceability is how we turn that story into something tangible — a process that can be seen, verified, and trusted.
The work hasn’t been simple. Building a transparent trade system means thinking differently, learning new tools, and connecting people from two very different worlds — farmers in São Tomé and buyers in the UK. Every step brings new lessons and reminds us that innovation is not only about machines or software, but about doing the right thing, even when it takes longer.
Laying the Groundwork for the Future
As we continue preparations through 2025, this traceability project marks a major step toward the first certified exports planned once CAISC completes its restructuring and organic certification.
Our objective is not speed, but stability — ensuring that when we export, we do it with complete transparency, fairness, and confidence in every detail.
An Open Invitation
This project represents what Trilateral Stability aims to stand for: clarity, fairness, and connection. It’s still early, but it’s already shaping the future we believe in.
Soon, every bar of chocolate or shipment of cocoa we handle will carry more than a label — it will carry proof of trust.
We invite partners, buyers, and cooperatives who share this vision to connect with us and take part in this journey toward transparent, responsible cocoa trade.
