Trilateral Stability was founded to build a truly transparent and ethical cocoa supply chain.
Our model is a “slow-burn,” step-by-step partnership.
Today, after months of planning, we are thrilled to officially launch “Phase 1” of the CAISC Restoration Initiative.
Our long-term vision is the full £50,000 restoration of the historic CAISC cooperative building in São Tomé.
But to make this achievable, we are starting with the most critical, high-impact first step.
What is “Phase 1”?
A £10,000 “Export-Ready” Project
“Phase 1” is a complete, fully costed project designed for one goal:
to get CAISC export-ready by 2026.
This £10,000 fund will be allocated to two key areas:
Construction (£8,366): to build the new fermentation and drying station, based on detailed local quotes from CAISC.
Certification & Buffer (£1,634): to fund the “Certificate of Biologic” (Organic Certification) and provide a small professional buffer for unexpected costs.
This project is the key to unlocking the whole supply chain.
It empowers our partners at CAISC to control their own quality, export their cocoa directly, and generate the revenue needed to fund future restoration phases.
Our Progress: a “Funder-Ready” Plan
We are not just announcing an idea, we are launching a fully costed, funder-ready project.
Thanks to the hard work of Cláudia Maria Quaresma Cabral and the CAISC team, we have a detailed “CAISC Restoration Project.pdf” that includes:
Itemised local quotes for all construction materials.
A detailed operational plan for the build.
A clear and transparent Phase 1 budget of £10,000.
Our Funding Campaign (The Ask)
To launch this project, Trilateral Stability has committed the first £2,000 as a “Project Seed Fund.”
This means the project is already 20 % funded from day one.
We are now officially launching our slow-burn funding campaign to find partners who will help close the remaining £8,000 gap.
Follow the Journey & Get Involved
This marks the official start of our Targeted Outreach.
We are now building a Funding Target List of ethical grants, funds, and patrons who believe in this step-by-step model.
This post is the official launch of that campaign.
We invite you to follow our progress.
If you are an ethical fund, a social-enterprise investor, or a potential Founding Patron who believes in our transparent model, please get in touch with us.
